Saturday afternoon, I went to the Greensboro Grasshoppers baseball stadium to audition to sing the National Anthem at one of this year's games. It was a gorgeous afternoon, and I enjoyed sitting in the sun (and getting a little sunburned) while waiting for my turn to audition.
It's amazing how many varied renditions there are of the National Anthem. I'm sure the judges were tired of hearing that song by the end of the day!
I will find out in two weeks if I've been picked to sing. If not, that's just fine- I had a great time singing in the sun on Saturday!
