Stephen's first criterium of the season was in Kernersville. I don't know how he felt, but I was super-excited to watch and cheer him on. There's just something about watching him do something he loves so much that makes me so happy and fills my heart. Watching a criterium is one of my favorite races to watch as well. They require so much strategy and skill and speed and flexibility. I love watching the riders plot their moves, support each other, catch up to the guys speeding past, and ultimately work their very hardest on the last half lap of the race. It's a fascinating sport in many ways that requires amazing strength and intellect. I'm excited for more spectating over the spring and summer months!
