Icy Snow Day

Our big storm ended up being a lot more ice than snow.  That kind of precipitation doesn't make for fun yards of fluffy white stuff, but it makes for excellent, slippery sledding!

I am so thankful for our neighborhood.  It's relatively small, but has tons of elementary aged kids who are quick to gather together whenever it snows.  Berk had a great time playing with the other kids- especially the bigger boys who are always so gracious and welcoming to him.

We did attempt to use our new snowman gear, but the icy snow wasn't exactly cooperating.  We did manage however, to make a snowman head!
